About the role

Own a territory. Build long-term relationships. Deliver technical solutions backed by a team that knows buildings, controls, and the Rocky Mountain market.

What You Will Do

  • Own and grow relationships with contractors, consulting engineers, facility teams, owners, and end users.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop opportunities for building automation and controls integration work.
  • Lead consultative sales conversations by understanding customer goals, site conditions, budgets, schedules, and decision drivers.
  • Partner with estimating, engineering, operations, and field teams to develop practical scopes and professional proposals.
  • Maintain a clean pipeline, accurate forecasts, and consistent follow-up through the sales process.
  • Represent Setpoint Systems in customer meetings, site walks, contractor coordination meetings, and industry events.

What We Are Looking For

  • B2B outside sales experience, ideally in building automation, HVAC, mechanical systems, electrical systems, construction, facility services, energy services, or another technical sales environment.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
  • A practical understanding of sales process, pipeline management, and customer relationship management.
  • Technical curiosity and the willingness to learn Building Automation Systems and integrated building technologies.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory for customer meetings, site walks, and industry events.
  • Bachelor's degree is helpful, but relevant experience and a strong track record matter more.
