Outreach Worker

About the role

The Community Based program is looking for energetic and flexible staff who have a passion to make a difference for children and families in our communities for our new Comprehensive Family Programs!

Responsibilities

• Balancing both treatment oriented support to youth and their parents/caretakers, and casework documentation and outreach responsibilities for youth who are involved with the Department of Children and Families.
• Comfortable working independently, and as part of a team with a Clinician, other youth and family support staff in both an adolescent group environment and with a caseload of assigned individual consumers.
• Building a strong rapport and communicating with youth, families, state agency workers, and collateral resources in person and by phone.

Requirements

• Position requires CORI/SORI.
• Driver's license, proof of car insurance, clean driving record, and use of personal vehicle to complete daily work assignments with mileage reimbursement.

Education

• Education requirement of a Bachelor's Degree, or at minimum, an Associates Degree with five years direct human service experience with youth and families.
