About the role
Join UNC Health Blue Ridge as an Outpatient Rehabilitation Manager and play a key leadership role in delivering exceptional rehabilitation services across our community.
You will coordinate and direct the day-to-day operations of the Outpatient Rehabilitation Department, providing leadership, supervision, scheduling, and support for clinical staff while ensuring efficient operations and outstanding patient outcomes.
You will work closely with the System Director of Rehabilitation to assist with strategic planning, policy and procedure development, budget management, staff recruitment and evaluations, quality improvement initiatives, and operational problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and direct the day-to-day operations of the Outpatient Rehabilitation Department
- Provide leadership, supervision, scheduling, and support for clinical staff
- Ensure efficient operations and outstanding patient outcomes
- Work closely with the System Director of Rehabilitation to assist with strategic planning, policy and procedure development, budget management, staff recruitment and evaluations, quality improvement initiatives, and operational problem-solving
- Serve as a department liaison
- Coordinate staff training
- Oversee departmental resources
- Help implement quality assurance programs that promote excellence in patient care
- Provide clinical support and assist with patient care activities as needed
Qualifications
- Average degree minimum as a Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapy Assistant, or Speech Therapist
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, Physical Therapy Assistant, or Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification required
- Preferred minimum of three years of leadership or assistant department management experience in a rehabilitation setting
