About the role
Apart from providing psychotherapy services, clinicians are responsible for assessment and evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and discharge of outpatient mental health patients. They develop individualized treatment plans, discharge plans, and assist patients in identifying appropriate treatment goals.
Responsibilities
- Perform intake and assessment of patients, including mental status exams and psychosocial histories.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and discharge plans.
- Initiate discharge planning at the time of admission.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings.
- Meet productivity standards and adhere to organizational and department standards regarding punctuality and attendance.
- Comply with HIPAA and corporate compliance standards.
- Support the overall mission and goals of Stormont Vail Behavioral Health Services.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Marriage & Family Therapy.
- One year of experience in behavioral health care.
- Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) or equivalent license from the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board.
- State-approved Clinical Supervision Plan within 90 days of hire.
- Flexibility to meet scheduling needs.
- Ability to meet organizational and department standards regarding punctuality and attendance.
- Compliance with HIPAA and corporate compliance standards.
- Support the overall mission and goals of Stormont Vail Behavioral Health Services.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of the DSM-V for accurate diagnosis.
- Familiarity with psychological reports, psychopharmacology, and relevant treatment modalities.
- Ability to provide individual, family, and group therapy.
- High standard of practice maintained at all times.
- Productivity meets organizational standards.
- Adherence to break and attendance schedules agreed upon with supervisor.
- Compliance with remote work policy and Stormont Vail’s Remote Worker Policy.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 annually.
Schedule
