About the role
A Licensed Clinical Therapist is needed to provide psychotherapy services to patients and their families. Responsibilities include intake and assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and discharge planning.
Responsibilities
- Perform intake and assessment including mental status exams and psychosocial histories.
- Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and objectives.
- Manage patient schedules and handle cancellations.
- Initiate discharge planning and provide education on treatment goals and expectations.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings.
- Meet CMS, Kancare, and insurance entity requirements.
- Educate the community and respond to media requests.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- 2 years clinical experience.
- Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (KSBSRB), Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist (KSBSRB), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (KSBSRB), or Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (KSBSRB).
Qualifications
- Familiarity with the DSM-5 for accurate diagnosis.
- Knowledge of psychological reports, psychopharmacology, and treatment modalities for common mental health diagnoses.
- Ability to provide individual, family, and group therapy.
- Flexibility to meet patient scheduling needs.
- Compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This is a Full-time position with a First Shift (Days - Less than 12 hours per shift) schedule, with 40 hours per week.
