Outpatient RN - Infusion - Weekend Float

About the role

The team provides patient care and supportive services directed towards achievement of positive patient care outcomes, maximizing the patient’s involvement in his/her own plan of care and reducing the length of hospitalization.

The nurse plays a critical role in staff engagement, the patient experience, quality and safety, and cost effective care.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide care to the patient and his/her family.
• Direct and supervise nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team.
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate and evaluate the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model.

Minimum Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit.
• Experience in relevant care setting preferred.

Schedule

• This is a float position and as such, the nurse is expected to work at multiple locations.
• This position will be required to work every other weekend at the ACC East Weekend Infusion clinic based out of East Hospital.
• In addition, this position will require floating to the five core infusion clinics throughout Columbus and will vary daily based on patient volume and staffing needs.
