About the role

Psychotherapy Associates of Kansas City (PAKC) is the oldest and largest private psychiatric practice in the greater Kansas City area. Comprised of 10 psychiatrists, two nurse practitioners, and a therapist, PAKC is dedicated to becoming the premier mental health practice in the Midwest. The practice is supported by an exceptional practice administrator and a dedicated office staff. PAKC features thriving, on-site TMS and Spravato® clinics, with an in-house Genoa pharmacy and a dedicated medical lab coming soon. They offer an immediate, high-volume caseload that allows new providers to build a thriving practice instantly.

Candidate Requirements

• General Psychiatrists (Board Certified or Board Eligible)
• Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists (Board Certified or Board Eligible)
• Experienced providers and final-year residents/fellows are welcome to apply.

The Opportunity

• In-House Credentialing Department handles seamless onboarding with major insurance carriers and keeps physicians fully on track with all licensure and CME requirements.
• 100% Outpatient: Focus on high-functioning private clinic conditions (Mood disorders, Anxiety, ADHD).
• No inpatient responsibilities.
• Minimal Call: Light, equitable phone-only rotation (rarely exceeding 1–2 calls per evening).
• Turnkey Transition: We make it seamless to transition from residency/fellowship training into private practice.
