About the role

Arrowhead Behavioral Health is a 48-bed private, free-standing psychiatric hospital located in Maumee, OH. Arrowhead offers a private, confidential and non-institutional environment conducive to healing and recovery. Arrowhead provides a variety of specialized services for adults. The Outpatient Program Manager provides leadership and oversight for all outpatient behavioral health services, including the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), Relapse Prevention (RP), and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Clinic. This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of outpatient services, ensuring program quality, regulatory compliance, and adherence to organizational policies and procedures. The Outpatient Program Manager reports directly to the Director of Clinical Services and serves as a leader in maintaining efficient operations, supporting staff development, and advancing the organization's mission and strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing Program Fidelity (outpatient)
  • Conducting chart audits monthly/weekly
  • Managing physician schedules
  • Monitoring quality improvement initiatives
  • Facilitating monthly outpatient staff meetings
  • Providing adhoc support to team members
  • Assisting with staffing and program coverage as needed
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote positive patient outcomes

Qualifications

  • Education: MSW (Master in Social Work)
  • Professional License: LSW or LISW or LISW-S
  • Related work experience: 1-3 years, preferred 3-5 years with leadership responsibilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Diplomacy and discretion are essential
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Professional demeanor and appearance required
  • Ability to work productively and independently
  • Must follow the security and confidentiality guidelines as well as the policies and procedures of Arrowhead Behavioral Health
