Outpatient Physical Therapy Lead
About the role
The Lead Physical Therapist at OFIL Homewood Therapy is responsible for supporting the management of the physical therapy department. They provide medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services to restore function and prevent disability in patients with various conditions.
Responsibilities
- Provide consultative and therapeutic services to patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, and integumentary disorders.
- Support the management of the physical therapy department, including overseeing staff and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Document patient care activities accurately and maintain patient records.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
- Ensure adherence to Physical Therapy/Hospital Policy, state, and federal regulatory licensing and accrediting requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor/Master/Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current state Physical Therapy license.
- Certified Basic Life Support (BCLS) from AHA upon hire and maintain current.
- 2 years of clinical experience required.
- 1 year of previous supervisory/management experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of clinical, administrative, and compliance aspects of physical therapy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $37.49 to $54.30 per hour.
Schedule
The Lead Physical Therapist works full-time, rotating shifts between 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM three days a week and 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM two days a week.
