Outpatient Physical Therapist - Pelvic Floor

We are seeking a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist to deliver outpatient services primarily focused on Women’s Health and Pelvic Floor issues, with some cases involving men experiencing pelvic pain and dysfunction. The role involves evaluating patients, developing personalized treatment plans using modalities such as exercise, massage, heat, and electrical therapy, and collaborating with medical staff to optimize patient care. Key Responsibilities Include Assessing functional ability and establishing treatment goalsEducating patients and caregivers on therapy techniques, equipment use, and safetyAdapting therapy techniques to meet individual needsSupervising and mentoring students, volunteers, and staffDocumenting care activities and processing billingRecommending environmental modifications for safety and daily activitiesParticipating in staff training, continuing education, and professional developmentEnsuring patient safety through adherence to protocols and proactive measures Qualifications Include Bachelor's Degree in a related disciplineValid NM Physical Therapist License or Temporary LicenseCPR/BLS certification within 30 daysPreferred bilingual skills in English and Spanish or Native languagesExperience is preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply with mentorship support The position involves physical demands such as exerting force up to 100 pounds and working in environments with potential chemical or hazardous exposures.
