About the role
Assists the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications in both specialty and conventional outpatient retail pharmacy settings.
Responsibilities
- Obtain patient information and insurance coverage required to process prescriptions.
- Triage inbound phone calls and redirect to appropriate staff.
Requirements
- Attention to details and exceptional customer service skills are essential.
- Must obtain Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration by June 28, 2026.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Trade school pharmacy technician training program preferred.
- One year experience as a pharmacy technician is required.
