About the role
Join the Cancer Center Pharmacy team at Intermountain Health Platte Valley Hospital and play a vital role in supporting patients throughout their cancer treatment journey. As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll provide specialized support for our growing Cancer and Infusion Center, helping ensure patients receive specialized therapies and medications accurately, safely, and with compassion.
Responsibilities
- Sterile compounding of hazardous and non-hazardous medications, including chemotherapy treatments, to support patients throughout their cancer care journey.
- Maintain a safe, compliant cleanroom environment through routine cleaning, monitoring, and quality assurance activities.
- Cookier inventory, preparation, and delivery to the Cancer and Infusion Center to ensure timely access to specialized therapies and exceptional patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum High School or equivalent is required.
- Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to state of practice.
- Current knowledge of state and federal regulations and statutes regarding the practice of pharmacy and the distribution of approved drugs, controlled substances, and investigational agents.
- Preferred: Sterile compounding experience is strongly preferred. Chemotherapy compounding experience is preferred.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $20.73 - $31.58
Schedule
Monday through Thursday; four 8-hour shifts per week, with possible holiday rotation and no weekends
