Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate outcomes using evidence-based practices.
  • Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive, and patient-centered care, addressing biological, emotional, developmental, and psychosocial needs.
  • Ensure safe administration of hazardous drugs and therapies, maintaining competence through ongoing education.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, document care accurately, and promote a respectful, inclusive clinical environment.
  • Serve as a preceptor or mentor for colleagues, fostering a knowledgeable and professional nursing workforce.
  • Adhere to organizational policies, legal standards, and professional codes, ensuring quality and safety in patient care.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Current nursing license and required certifications.
  • Knowledge of oncology infusion therapies, safety protocols, and evidence-based practice standards.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
