Outpatient Mental Health Clinician - Behavioral Health

Role Overview: The Clinician provides psychotherapy to patients across all ages in a clinical setting, utilizing individualized techniques and interventions. Key Responsibilities Conducts initial mental health evaluations and develops personalized treatment plans with specific goals.Delivers ongoing psychotherapy through individual or group sessions.Performs case management, referrals, and discharge planning, coordinating with caregivers and other providers.Identifies appropriate levels of care and facilitates transitions within behavioral health services.Obtains necessary authorizations for services and ensures timely, relevant clinical documentation.Maintains patient confidentiality adhering to HIPAA and state regulations. Qualifications & Skills Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field.Licensed as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.Experience providing psychotherapy in a clinical environment.Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse individuals.Ability to clarify goals, complete projects, and maintain a professional demeanor.
