Requirements

• Active NY license and registration as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• Current CPR certification.

Qualifications

For Physician Assistants:

• Bachelor's degree.
• Successful completion of an approved PA training program.
• Certification by the NCCPA.
• Minimum one year of ambulatory care experience.

For Nurse Practitioners:

• Graduation from an approved NP program.
• Certification by AANPCB or ANCC.
• Pharmacology coursework.
• At least one year of ambulatory care experience.
• Three years of nursing experience preferred.
