Outpatient Geriatric Psychiatrists
About the role
The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking full-time faculty members to primarily provide outpatient care and clinical teaching in the Geriatric Psychiatry program. This position requires experience and expertise in the treatment and management of geriatric psychiatry patients as well as experience in the supervision and mentorship of psychiatric trainees.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient care to geriatric psychiatry patients
- Conduct clinical research in geriatric psychiatry
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in geriatric psychiatry
- Participate in the development and implementation of educational curricula
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address complex patient needs
Requirements
- Completed training in General Psychiatry
- Possess or be fully eligible for a California medical license
- Board-certified in General Psychiatry
- Board-certified or eligible for board certification in Geriatric Psychiatry
Qualifications
- Experience in treating geriatric psychiatry patients
- Experience in supervising and mentoring psychiatric trainees
- Strong commitment to teaching and research in geriatric psychiatry

Pay
Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
