Responsibilities

  • Provide psychiatric care to both new and established patients
  • Teach fellows, residents, and medical students
  • Attend case conferences and participate in administrative and educational meetings
  • Engage in research activities, including clinical studies, quality improvement projects, and the development of evidence-based practices and specialized treatments
  • Inpatient on-call responsibilities as part of the faculty call schedule

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree
  • Completion of a four-year psychiatry residency
  • Geriatric psychiatry fellowship completed
  • Hold or be eligible for a medical license in the State of Georgia
  • Board certified or board eligible
