Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric care to both new and established patients
- Teach fellows, residents, and medical students
- Attend case conferences and participate in administrative and educational meetings
- Engage in research activities, including clinical studies, quality improvement projects, and the development of evidence-based practices and specialized treatments
- Inpatient on-call responsibilities as part of the faculty call schedule
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of a four-year psychiatry residency
- Geriatric psychiatry fellowship completed
- Hold or be eligible for a medical license in the State of Georgia
- Board certified or board eligible
