Position Summary

Behavioral health experience is defined as work experience providing direct care to individuals whose condition is related to mental disorder, a personality disorder, substance abuse, or a significant psychological or behavioral response to an identifiable stressor. Employee will serve as a Clinician at Terros Health, supervised by Clinical Manager or Regional Administrator. This position is responsible for providing outpatient counseling services which may include adults, children, adolescents, families, couples, and groups using the Triple Aim framework of “Better health for the population, better care for the individual and lower cost per capita”. Ensures the successful achievement of Terros Health vision, mission, program objective and compliance with a broad range of current federal and state health regulations and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Provides outpatient counseling services to clients.
  • Responsible for intakes, assessments, treatment and discharge planning, and group counseling through evidence-based practices.
  • Charts progress, maintains clinical records and ensures implementation of treatment and discharge plans.
  • Maintains and follows up on client needs, and submits monthly service reports as required or needed.
  • Collaborates with various State, Federal, and local agencies to coordinate services.
  • Serves as a client-centered outpatient clinical services provider to individuals/families.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree, i.e., MA, MC, MSW, in a Behavioral Health Field preferred.
  • Maintains Arizona License: Associate Licensure - LAC, LMSW, or Independent Licensure - LCSW, LPC AZ Licensure reimbursable when renewed as a TH Employee (according to Policy).

Qualifications

  • Treatment of co-occurring disorders preferred.
  • Experience with domestic violence probationers preferred.
  • Behavioral health experience preferred.
  • New graduates considered.
