Responsibilities

  • Complete diagnostic evaluations and comprehensive assessments, safety and risk assessments, and implement treatment planning, utilizing a variety of treatment modalities such as individual, couple, family and group psychotherapy, as clinically indicated.
  • Establish effective working relationships with clients and utilize solution-based interventions which best address specific problem areas, as identified in the client’s treatment plan.
  • Provide therapy to individuals and families, including specialized treatments like integrated dual diagnosis and self-management plans.
  • Participate, when clinically indicated, in treatment collaborative meetings.
  • Complete all necessary documentation (progress notes, treatment plans, etc.) on time, ensuring it meets medical necessity standards.
  • Maintain consistent expected productivity outcomes, which averages a minimum of 16 client treatment hours per week, with a monthly review.
  • Attend and participate in weekly clinical supervision for clinicians working toward licensure and no less than monthly for licensed clinicians.

Qualifications

  • Requires a Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, or related field
  • Preferred licensure from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (LICSW, LMHC, LCSW)
  • Experience working with children, families and adults with mental health and substance use needs
  • Doctorate in Psychology and Licensed Eligible in Massachusetts
  • Valid Massachusetts Drivers License
