Outdoor Adventure Team Member

About the Role

The Outdoor Adventure Team facilitates the high and low element activities, including the Climbing Wall, Zip Line, Vertical Playpen, Giant's Ladder, and Leap of Faith. Staff will engage in camp life, support a cabin as support staff, and ensure safety on campus and elements.

Low Elements include team-building and problem-solving games, challenge courses. High Elements include Climbing Wall, Leap of Faith, Giant’s Ladder, Zip Line, Crate Stack, and Vertical Playpen.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate camper elements
• Ensure safety on campus and elements
• Engage in camp life and support a cabin as support staff

Requirements

• At least 18 years old (preferably one full year out of high school)
• Able to work on your feet, be outside all day, lift up to 50 lbs, and walk up to 5 miles in a day
• Signed agreement of CLM Summer Staff Handbook
• Successful completion of CLM Orientation Training Program

Qualifications

• Professing Christian that commits to follow the mission and vision of Camp Lurecrest Ministries
• Displays leadership skills, maturity, and safety consciousness
• Able to complete job tasks while being attentive to camper experience and overall safety
• Respond with grace in high-stress situations
• Willing to teach and invest in campers

Schedule

Seasonal position from May 27, 2026 to August 8, 2026.

Staff will live, eat, and serve on-site, modeling the values of CLM as outlined in the Summer Staff Handbook and contract both on and off the job.
