Outcomes Engagement Student Assistant - IE

About the role
The University Career Center’s mission is to Empower students, cultivate opportunities, forge partnerships, and launch careers. We are seeking Outcomes Engagement Student Assistants to help administer the First Destination Survey to recent graduates. This is a temporary, 1-month position from September 28 to October 29, working about 10 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Conduct friendly phone calls to recent JMU graduates asking about their career outcomes
- Accurately record the information recent graduates provide about their career outcome
Requirements
- Be a full-time student
- Have availability from 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM Monday–Thursday and Sunday 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Be a clear communicator
- Be detail oriented
- Be able to work independently
- Be willing to learn new skills required to complete job responsibilities
Schedule
- Temporary, 1-month position (September 28 – October 29)
- Approximately 10 hours per week
- Evening/weekend calling window: Monday–Thursday 5:30 PM–8:30 PM and Sunday 1:00 PM–5:00 PM
Pay
$12.77 per hour
