Position Responsibilities and Duties
- Cook up RFPs and RFQs with integrators and MET vendors.
- Issue contracts for integrators and MET vendors for all active projects.
- Keep a data sheet repository with the latest equipment in the master BOM.
- Check project drawings against the BOM for alignment and completeness.
- Create, execute, and track project equipment orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Handle MET switches for all SCADA projects managed by SOLV OTS.
- Manage spare parts inventory.
- Participate in SOW/Exhibit reviews as required by the OTS Pre-Construction Project Manager.
- Review BOMs with project teams.
- Participate in Third Party SCADA project contract reviews and negotiations.
- Provide timely updates to project personnel regarding order dates, material deliveries, pricing requests, etc.
- Monitor the OTS cradle point (net cloud) account and ensure it's in good working order for project deployments.
- Monitor the OTS ATT/Verizon and Starlink accounts and ensure needed service lines are established and unused ones are terminated or transferred.
- Participate in additional calls including Owner, Business Development, Estimating, etc., as needed.
- Update material and pricing information to OTS Estimating.
Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements
- A college degree is preferred but not required.
- At least 2 years of utility-scale solar industry experience.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and exhibits.
- Cost tracking and budget management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Power BI.
- Experience using project management tools including MS Project, P6, or Smartsheet.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and charismatic personality.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship.
