About the role

As a Home Health Aide at Amedisys, you will provide compassionate care to patients in their homes. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Monitor patient health and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications as prescribed by the physician.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during visits.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Experience in home health care or related field preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
