OT Analyst/Consultant

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead, influence, and execute OT security engagements in critical infrastructure and/or mission-critical industry environments. You will research, analyze, and report on a broad range of cyber threats to operational technology (OT) across all industries, focusing on threat actors targeting OT, their tactics, techniques, and procedures, geopolitical motivations, national security consequences, and the impact of emerging technologies.

This role involves in-depth research and collaboration with Industry Intelligence and Analysis teams to produce finished operational and strategic cyber intelligence products, specifically focused on OT.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, produce, and brief operational and/or strategic cybersecurity threat intelligence products.
• Research and report on cyber threats to OT networks, systems, and devices, including threat actors, their tactics, techniques, and geopolitical motivations.
• Collaborate with Industry Intelligence and Analysis teams to develop cyber intelligence products focused on OT.
• Assess how convergence, integration, and digitalization impact the OT attack surface across multiple industries.
• Support OT security program and governance development.
• Deploy or support OT security sensors in operational environments.
• Perform threat hunting, identify indicators of compromise, and detect intrusions or potential incidents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years of work experience). If Associate’s Degree, must have a minimum of 6 years of work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience analyzing, producing, and briefing operational and/or strategic cybersecurity threat intelligence products.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with OT networks, systems, assets, devices, and security solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience providing consulting services to clients in relevant industry verticals such as Oil and Gas, Utilities, Manufacturing, Chemical, and Healthcare.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with security analysis techniques, including identifying indicators of compromise, threat hunting, and incident detection.
• Minimum 2 years of experience deploying or supporting OT security sensors in operational environments.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT or OT networking infrastructure.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in Security Operations Centers (SOCs) with security tooling such as OT Network Security Monitors (NSMs), SIEMs, and Endpoint Security tools for operational environments.

Travel may be required for this role, ranging from 0% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
