About the role

Full-time position responsible for analyzing customer requests and designing custom solutions for credit union core platforms and related third-party interfaces. Performs a variety of tasks to provide high levels of customer service from CUTEK’s San Antonio, TX or Escondido, CA offices.

Responsibilities

  • Supports customers and/or team members by providing accurate and timely service.
  • Leads teams through customizing existing third-party architecture and design to meet credit union information needs.
  • Analyzes, reviews, and documents requirements to increase operating efficiency or adapt to information needs, creating custom statement-of-work documents for customer approval.
  • Performs complex project management tasks, including designing, documenting, and training client resources in various technologies, vendor selection, and leading teams through complex implementations.
  • Establishes testing procedures and documentation for all customer deliverables.
  • Ensures operations are performed in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Documents and logs all work associated with assignments while maintaining high levels of project management with customers.
  • Responds promptly to customer requests and ideas, resolving problems and concerns.
  • Provides assistance, support, and training to customers as required, ensuring programs meet requirements and are completed on schedule.
  • Ensures clear, courteous, and understandable interactions with customers (emails, phone calls, meetings) and communicates project status, deadlines, and reasons for problems.
  • Acts as a valued consultant and resource to customers.
  • Establishes and maintains effective communication, coordination, and working relations with staff and management.
  • Keeps management informed of significant problems and progress toward objectives, providing recommendations for new programs and future equipment needs.
  • Assists with product and project support as needed.
  • Completes records, logs, and project documents.
  • Attends and participates in meetings and phone calls as required.
  • Stays informed of changes in programming and related technology.
  • Ensures work area is clean, secure, and well-maintained.
  • Completes special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-year degree in computer science or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
  • At least four years of related experience, with strong consideration given to experience in the financial industry, credit union core environments, and knowledge of third-party products and services that integrate with cores.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Well-organized.
