Orthopedic Trauma Surgery Physician Associate Needed at Clinic

About the Role

The clinician will provide comprehensive orthopedic trauma surgery coverage at a Level 1 trauma center, managing complex cases, performing reductions and washouts, and supporting emergency, ICU, and hospital rounds.

Responsibilities

• Manage a daily caseload of approximately 20 patients across all ages.
• Perform orthopedic trauma procedures, including reductions and washouts.
• Provide ED support, consultations, and post-operative care.
• Participate in 24-hour call shifts, including weekends.
• Support ICU and hospital rounding with on-site availability.

Requirements

• ACLS or ATLS certification required.
• Experience with eClinical Works EMR system.
• Prescriptive authority required.
• Ability to handle Level 1 trauma cases and work independently.

Additional Details

• Support staff includes RNs.
• Support patient population of all ages.
• On-site position with day shifts and weekend call coverage.
