About the role
Columbia Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seeking an experienced Orthopedic Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner to join their established Orthopedic and Sports Medicine team in Astoria, Oregon.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive quality outpatient and surgical care to patients in a community clinic setting.
- Specialize in hip, knee and shoulder, knee/shoulder arthroscopy and basic fractures with a high concentration of total joint replacements.
- Work with experienced surgeons and physician associates in a busy orthopedic practice.
- See both new and established adult and pediatric patients.
- Enjoy a four-day work week with dedicated OR, outpatient, and administrative time.

Requirements
- Two (2) years of surgical PA/NP experience.
- Active, unrestricted Oregon Physician Associate/Nurse Practitioner license.
- Active unrestricted DEA Certificate.
- ACLS (American Heart Association certification).
Qualifications
- Master’s or baccalaureate degree and completion of an ARCA-PA approved program.
- Current NCCPA certification.
- Active, unrestricted Oregon Physician Associate license (for Physician Associates).
- Master’s, post-master’s or doctorate degree in a nurse practitioner program accredited by CCNE or ACEN (for Nurse Practitioners).
