Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Physician Service Line leader in addition to Orthopedic and Orthopedic Trauma Surgeons to facilitate Service Line Meetings focused on institute operations, clinical excellence, and Patient Experience.
Trauma liaison to ensure American College of Surgeons (ACS) guidelines are achieved and sustained.
Collaborate with Nurse Navigators to optimize patient experience through the care continuum, provide safe patient care through strategic initiatives focused on decreasing preventable patient returns to ED, and conduct real time patient rounding.
Provide primary oversight of Joint Commission Disease Specific Certification for Fragility Hip Fracture including data validation with the Data Analytics Team.
Continuous support towards quality and safety initiatives to meet mandatory requirements and regulations (Department of Public Health, CMS and Joint Commission).
Lead and coordinate Service Line quality improvement initiatives, process improvements, A3s with the multidisciplinary team.
In partnership with the Data Analytics Team supports data quality, coding compliance, and registry requirements.
Ensure proper Patient Reported Outcomes (PRO) captures on selected virtual platforms.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing.
Experience: At least three years clinical experience in an acute care setting. Previous experience in regulatory and Joint Commission accreditation process.
Preferred Requirements:
Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Management or related discipline preferred.
Experience: At least five years clinical experience in an acute care setting. Previous experience in regulatory and Joint Commission accreditation process.
