About the role

Full-time, benefits eligible position. 40 hours/week Monday‑Friday 8:00 am‑4:30 pm. Position will also be cross trained in department's registration and appointment check‑in needs.

Responsibilities

Schedules numerous clinic outpatient appointments, obtains accurate demographic, insurance, and physician information, and pre-registers outpatients in a timely and accurate manner.

• Schedules patients for designated outpatient services and coordinates changes in appointments through canceling or re‑scheduling.
• Works referral lists and contacts patients for appointments.
• Collaborates and communicates with departments and physicians whose services are scheduled.
• Interviews and registers designated patients in the computer system.
