About the Role
Seeking a Surgery Scheduler in Orthopedics to coordinate outpatient visits, procedures, and surgeries.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling patient appointments, managing data entry in Epic, and preparing documentation for review.
- Determining insurance pre-authorizations and mailing necessary information to patients.
- Obtaining referrals and authorizations for clinic encounters, procedures, and surgeries.
- Preauthorizing procedures and triaging new patient referrals via fax, phone, and email.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED with 2 years of patient registration and insurance experience.
Preferred qualifications:
- College degree.
- 3+ years of patient-facing experience.
- Medical office background.
- EPIC and MS Office proficiency.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Knowledge of HIPAA.

Work Environment
Onsite in Longmont and Boulder, CO, with travel as needed.
