Responsibilities
- Help lead assigned activities within designated programs
- Maintain complete knowledge of emergency procedures to ensure the safety of children
- Demonstrate and uphold the YMCA Core Values while maintaining a cooperative, professional attitude with participants, parents, and staff
- Provide a quality program environment that considers each child’s needs and supports the YMCA’s goals and objectives
- Treat children with dignity and respect and engage with them positively
- Supervise, demonstrate, and lead activities
- Assist with planning and implementing the daily program
- Provide consistent communication to parents and participants as needed
- Attend all required staff meetings and training programs
- Perform other duties/assignments as needed at the YMCA
