About the role
The ORSP Administrative Analyst (Analyst) supports ORSP administrative operations, providing day-to-day administration and serving as a resource for faculty, administrators, staff, students, and community members. Duties include handling administrative tasks, analyzing data, and assisting with various projects.
Responsibilities
- Supports ORSP administrative operations
- Provides information and historical background on policies, procedures, and practices
- Interprets and applies policies and procedures
- Develops or improves administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs
- Supports faculty, administrators, staff, students, and community members
- Prepares and analyzes budgetary and other financial reports
- Provides support documentation
- Performs general office assistance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent administrative work experience
- Experience supporting sponsored programs administration activities in a higher education environment
- Intermediate proficiency of computers and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Knowledge of Google Suite, web publishing software, and PeopleSoft
Qualifications
- General knowledge of public administration principles
- Independent judgement to make decisions
- Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures
- Ability to perform research when needed
- Ability to prepare and analyze budgetary and other financial reports
- Ability to provide support documentation
- Ability to provide general office assistance
Skills
- Intermediate proficiency of computers
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Knowledge of Google Suite
- Knowledge of web publishing software
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft
Benefits
Part-time, temporary, non-exempt position. Salary range is $27.69 - $40.34 an hour (step 1 - step 20). Step placement will be determined based on relevant qualifications and professional experience. Reappointment to this position is dependent upon the individual's performance as well as administrative and budgetary considerations. The university reserves the right to terminate this appointment earlier than the scheduled expiration date.
Pay
This is a part-time, temporary, non-exempt position. The CSU Classification Step Range for this position is $27.69 - $40.34 an hour (step 1 - step 20).
