Originations Analyst

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop a strong understanding of internal systems and workflows to ensure proper sourcing documentation
• Own end-to-end data management, including data entry, maintenance, and reporting
• Conduct data-driven analyses on sourcing efforts to help guide coverage decisions
• Support with “Air Traffic Control,” developing the right institutional knowledge of LEC to make the best connections to external parties
• Assist in preliminary processing and review of investment opportunities
• SOURCE, DEVELOP, AND MAINTAIN NEW RELATIONSHIPS WITH PEERS AT RELEVANT FIRMS
• Participate in entertainment such as in-person meetings, events, dinners, etc.

Requirements

• Demonstrated interest in working in or around the technology industry
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
• Organized, able to streamline processes for greater efficiency
• Familiar with CRM tools such as Salesforce
• Demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship and venture capital/growth equity
• Team-first orientation with the ability to contribute to firm culture

Compensation

The budgeted base salary range is $100,000-$125,000. Total compensation will include base salary and performance-based bonus. Total package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and will be highly competitive relative to market. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
