Responsibilities
- Coverage of Company mission, values, culture and expectations
- Policies, procedures and compliance requirements
- EMS operational standards and protocols
- Safety, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements
- Awareness of new employees' knowledge, skills and abilities
- Creation of a positive environment for new hires
- Determination of need for remediation or termination
- Instruction in safe lifting and moving techniques, patient handling, and CEVO
- Monthly annual refresher instruction
- Assistance in other areas of the Education Department
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- EMT / Paramedic License in the state in which they are teaching
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher etc.)
- AHA Instructor credentials (BLS) preferred
