Orientation Specialist

Responsibilities

• Coverage of Company mission, values, culture and expectations
• Policies, procedures and compliance requirements
• EMS operational standards and protocols
• Safety, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements
• Awareness of new employees' knowledge, skills and abilities
• Creation of a positive environment for new hires
• Determination of need for remediation or termination
• Instruction in safe lifting and moving techniques, patient handling, and CEVO
• Monthly annual refresher instruction
• Assistance in other areas of the Education Department

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• EMT / Paramedic License in the state in which they are teaching
• Computer literate (Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher etc.)
• AHA Instructor credentials (BLS) preferred
