About the role
At Directions Credit Union, we seek an enthusiastic and engaging Organizational Trainer who is passionate about creating exceptional learning experiences, educating others, and developing talent.
Responsibilities
- Design, coordinate, and facilitate training programs for new hires and existing employees.
- Develop engaging learning materials, workshops, and resources to support employee development.
- Train staff on Credit Union products, services, policies, procedures, and systems.
- Support organizational initiatives and change management efforts through effective employee education.
- Work closely with leaders and subject matter experts to identify training needs and learning opportunities.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve training programs and delivery methods.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and employee engagement.
- Build strong relationships across the organization to ensure training remains relevant, effective, and aligned with business goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Training, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in training and development, preferably within a financial services or credit union environment.
- Proven ability to design, develop, and deliver high-quality training programs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Experience with adult learning principles and methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with standard business hours.
