Organizational Learning & Development Consultant

Key Accountabilities

  • Assess organizational and job performance needs; identify root causes of performance gaps and determine appropriate training and non-training solutions.
  • Partner with business leaders to define performance outcomes, learning objectives, and success measures.
  • Provide consultation to leadership on performance improvement strategies and organizational development initiatives.
  • Design and develop performance-based learning solutions using structured methodologies (e.g., Systematic Approach to Training).
  • Create facilitator guides, participant materials, and supporting tools to enable effective learning transfer.
  • Ensure learning solutions are aligned to enterprise priorities, operational goals, and performance requirements.
  • Facilitate engaging and effective learning sessions, workshops, and team interventions for leaders and employees.
  • Lead group discussions and sessions that support leadership development, team effectiveness, and organizational alignment.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on applying learning and improving performance.
  • Develop and apply evaluation methods to measure the effectiveness of training and performance interventions.
  • Continuously analyze program outcomes and recommend enhancements to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Maintain knowledge of current learning technologies, instructional design practices, and performance improvement methodologies.
  • Manage multiple learning and development initiatives, including scope, timeline, stakeholders, and deliverables.
  • Utilize standard project management tools and practices to effectively manage workstreams, risks, and dependencies.
  • Track progress against established plans and provide regular updates to stakeholders on status, milestones, risks, and outcomes.
  • Cook up with internal teams and external vendors as needed to deliver high-quality solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • 5+ years instructional design, facilitation, and consulting experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in OD, I/O Psychology, or related field
  • Experience with change management and evaluation frameworks

Sales Rep

  • Working under general supervision of a supervisor or manager or project manager
  • Work within a tight knit sales group
  • Extensive driving, regular overnights, door-to-door sales
  • Work to obtain easements
  • Interaction with other teams to reach yearly overall goal
  • A certain degree of creativity, latitude and Microsoft office skills are required
  • Own vehicle with insurance and a valid driver's license
  • Pay for gas, food and lodging
  • Reimbursement is weekly for all travel related expenses
  • Majority of the work will take place in Big Rapids and North
  • Ideal candidates would be in the North Central Michigan area
  • Sales liaison to support our field sales coordinators with difficult customers, special or complicated installations
  • Additional duties include securing difficult easements and Maximo Work Order Design
  • Managing Construction related paperwork, ensuring Job Cards are collected from the Pipeline Contractors and Ensuring they are delivered to the stations for scanning and drafting
  • This will be a more advanced role than our standard Sales Coordinators
