Learning & Career Development

Lead the end-to-end design and enablement of scalable learning systems and programs
Design and/or deliver learning and leadership development programs
Partner with HR and subject matter experts to coordinate the design and curriculum of New Employee Orientation and other mandatory training programs
Maintain and enhance the Workday LMS module, ensuring accessibility, engagement, and alignment with career development plans
Partner with HR and Texas PSF leaders to identify skills gaps and deliver targeted learning solutions
Support employee career development by helping employees identify growth opportunities based on skills and competencies, advising on roles aligned to their strengths, and partnering with HR on career pathing and internal mobility strategies

Program Evaluation and Project Management

Define success metrics and evaluation frameworks for learning, leadership, and recruiting initiatives
Translate data, insights, and trends into recommendations that support continuous improvement and strategic decision-making
Measure program effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative data, including participation, engagement, performance outcomes, and feedback
Collaborate on cross-functional project planning, including scope definition, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risk management

L&D Vendor Management

Conduct learning needs assessments and research vendors to support leadership development programs across multiple levels
Partner with platform vendors on current training opportunities and own vendor strategy, selection, and ongoing relationship management for learning and leadership development
Develop and oversee processes for selecting and evaluating L&D content and platform vendors, and partner with procurement and legal to finalize vendor agreements
Monitor vendor market trends and emerging solutions to recommend innovative, cost-effective partnerships that improve scalability and impact

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Graduation from an accredited bachelor’s degree program in Instructional Design, Learning Technology, Business, Human Resources, Education, Industrial Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Five or more years of experience in learning & development, leadership development, career planning, or related fields.
  • Proven experience designing and facilitating learning programs (in-person and virtual).
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration experience.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and HR.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: Society of Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), Professional of Human Resources (PHR), Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD), or Certification for the Talent Development Professional (CPTD).
  • Preferred Experience: Financial services industry or investment background.
  • Experience as a consultant in a learning and development role.
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software, AI literacy and the ability to apply AI tools to enhance learning design, content development, and employee career growth, experience evaluating, selecting, and managing L&D vendors, experience in data analytics and data visualization, skill in leveraging AI-enabled tools to personalize learning, identify skill gaps, and support career pathing and talent development strategies, strong people leadership and coaching capabilities, instructional design and digital learning expertise, strategic thinking with operational execution ability, data-driven decision making and continuous improvement mindset, demonstrated learning agility with AI tools and the ability to apply emerging technologies to enhance learning, career development, and workforce capability building, ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to maintain the security or integrity of the infrastructure.
