About the Role

Our client, a leading organization within the financial services industry, is seeking an experienced technology and business transformation professional to lead large-scale strategic initiatives that drive operational excellence and organizational change across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnership & Program Direction
    • Collaborate with executive leadership and key business stakeholders to establish program objectives, define scope, and align initiatives with broader organizational strategy.
    • Develop the overall delivery approach, ensuring clear priorities, measurable success criteria, and strong alignment with business goals from project kickoff through completion.
  • Program Delivery & Execution
    • Lead complex enterprise initiatives through every stage of the project lifecycle, including planning, initiation, execution, implementation, and closeout.
    • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resource planning, communications, dependencies, and overall delivery to ensure successful outcomes.
    • Apply established project management and organizational change methodologies to deliver consistent, high-quality results.
  • Stakeholder Management & Governance
    • Serve as the primary point of coordination for cross-functional programs, providing regular updates on progress, risks, decisions, and milestones.
    • Organize and facilitate governance meetings, steering committees, and working sessions to support effective decision-making and executive alignment.
    • Build trusted relationships across multiple business functions to encourage collaboration and promote successful adoption of change.
  • Organizational Change & Business Adoption
    • Develop and implement change management strategies that support the successful rollout of new technologies, business processes, and operating models.
    • Partner with business leaders to monitor adoption, measure business benefits, and reinforce long-term sustainability of implemented solutions.
    • Support organizational readiness by helping teams navigate operational and behavioral changes.
  • Risk & Dependency Management
    • Identify project risks, issues, and cross-functional dependencies early, developing mitigation plans to minimize business impact.
    • Monitor project health throughout delivery, escalating critical concerns and recommending adjustments when necessary to maintain project objectives.
    • Ensure alignment across business units and project teams to support seamless execution.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen enterprise project delivery and change management capabilities.
    • Perform other responsibilities as assigned in support of the organization's transformation objectives.

Requirements

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization.
  • Demonstrated success managing stakeholders within complex, cross-functional business environments.
  • Strong understanding of project management and organizational change management principles, with experience supporting both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
  • Ability to translate strategic business objectives into actionable project plans with clearly defined deliverables and measurable outcomes.
  • Knowledge of technology implementation approaches and how they impact business operations and organizational processes.
  • Hands-on, execution-focused professional with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Previous experience within the financial services sector, ideally supporting asset management or a similar environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience gained within a management consulting firm or an internal transformation, strategy, or enterprise change function.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Understanding of investment operations, the investment lifecycle, or related financial services functions.
  • Experience working within Agile environments, including hybrid project delivery models.
  • Familiarity with project collaboration and delivery tools such as Jira and Confluence.
