Evaluations and Coordination
Evaluates patient suitability for organ donation by reviewing medical records and consultation with medical staff.
Captures and updates donor information into electronic medical record.
Organ Placement and Allocation
Collaborates with transplant programs and surgeons to coordinate organ placement and allocation.
Surgical Recovery and Logistics
Coordinates and assists in the surgical recovery of organs and peri-operative management.
- Arranges transportation for organs.
- Ensures surgical packaging of organs.
- Prepares lab specimens for shipment.
Supporting Donor Families
Provides support to donor families and conducts medial/social history interviews.
Qualifications
- Two plus years prior experience in a critical care setting.
- Registered Nursing (RN) License.
- Valid Driver’s License with the ability to pass MVR underwriting requirements.
- The ability to creatively approach marketing and outreach.
Call Requirement
You will be required to take a minimum of (14) 12-hour call shifts every 4 weeks with day and night shifts alternating monthly.

Additional Information
