Shift 2:00PM to 10:00PM

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter

  • Performs trailer inspections for all inbound and outbound orders, ensuring proper securing, temperature requirements, and adherence to food safety and quality regulations.
  • Loads and unloads product using Radio Frequency scanners; ensures accuracy, completeness of paperwork, and collaborates with shift supervisor, quality control, and inventory control to resolve discrepancies or issues.
  • Correctly receives product from purchase orders or intra-company stock transfers, verifying case counts, code dates, pallet counts, and conditions, and documenting any damages.
  • Ensures quality and weight distribution of outbound shipments, adhering to regulatory requirements and maintaining accurate records.
  • Puts away received product into storage, replenishes pick locations, and fulfills customer orders through full pallet picking.
  • Completes daily Powered Industrial Truck inspections, ensuring safe operation and reporting any concerns to maintenance personnel or shift supervisor.
  • Understands and complies with Good Manufacturing Practices, Saputo’s food safety and quality programs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Promptly reports any quality, food safety, or workplace safety hazards to management.
  • Attends and participates in required training sessions, shift meetings, and committees.

Qualifications

  • Able to read and communicate effectively in English
  • Able to work assigned schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Basic math knowledge
  • Demonstrated work history
  • Confident in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to meet physical demands (stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, lift up to 50 lbs, work in cold environments, around moving equipment, good visual acuity)

Position Abilities And Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including noise, cold temperatures, standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing stairs, maneuvering around material handling equipment, consistent throughout the shift.
  • Physical lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted continuously throughout the shift.
  • Wearing personal protective equipment and following all established procedures.
  • Good visual acuity with ability to distinguish colors.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Fine manipulation and hand dexterity, including ability to grip and squeeze; handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms.
  • Able to work overtime on a daily and/or weekly basis.

Pay

$27.14 an hour + shift differential
