Order Management Specialist

The Order Management Specialist is responsible for managing client orders throughout the order-to-invoice lifecycle, including order processing, distributor and vendor coordination, ETA management, issue resolutions, and invoicing readiness. Working closely with Account Executives, distributors, vendors, and internal teams, this role ensures orders are processed accurately, expected delivery dates are maintained, client expectations are proactively managed, and completed orders are submitted for invoicing in a timely manner. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple orders and priorities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and client service. Accountability Process and maintain accurate sales orders, purchase orders, and order dataCoordinate with vendors, distributors, Account Executives, and internal teams to ensure successful order executionProvide proactive communication on order status, ETAs, delays, and exceptionsCreate order-related records that support downstream contract administration, renewals, and client asset trackingEnsure orders are invoicing-ready and support revenue timing visibilityResolve order-related issues and drive process improvementsDeliver a high level of service to clients, partners, and internal teams Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in order management, sales operations, sales support, procurement, customer service, or other transaction-based operational rolesExperience working within ERP, CRM, or other business systems to manage orders, transactions, and client recordsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining accuracy, staying organized, and paying close attention to detailsAbility to build strong working relationships with vendors, distributors, and internal teamsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently while staying aligned with team priorities and client commitmentsDemonstrated ability to resolve issues, adapt to changing priorities, and follow tasks through to completion Preferred Experience supporting technology sales, distribution, manufacturing, or other order-driven environmentsStrong understanding of sales orders, purchase orders, invoicing, shipping, and order lifecycle processesProcess improvement mindset with the ability to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalabilityExperience with NetSuite, Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Copilot Work location: Hybrid at Evolving Solutions Corporate Office, Hamel, Minnesota Reporting Relationships Reports to Director of Revenue Operations Compensation Range Salary range: $65,000 - $75,000 annually Evolving Solutions is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
