Responsibilities

  • Oversee the secure placement of purchase orders with vendors, serving as the primary point of contact for external fulfillment operations.
  • Meticulously review vendor order acknowledgments to audit pricing, product specifications, and shipment timelines, proactively resolving discrepancies with internal sales teams before production begins.
  • Manage the lifecycle of purchase orders from the point of initial placement through to final destination arrival, ensuring strict adherence to customer delivery SLAs.
  • Maintain absolute accuracy within the order management system, managing data entry, tracking updates, and order status logs.
  • Conduct routine research and analysis on shipping timelines, and vendor reliability to help optimize in-hand dates.
  • Cross-functional resource coordination to facilitate clear, proactive communication loops between vendor support teams, internal account managers, and logistics partners to mitigate delivery delays.

Requirements

  • Requires 2–3 years of experience in high-volume customer service, supply chain coordination.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel capabilities preferred) and experience navigating order management software.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to maintain professional, firm alignment with external vendors under tight deadlines.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with a sharp eye for detail, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and a positive, team-oriented attitude on a fast-paced production floor.

Qualifications

  • Professional Experience: Requires 2–3 years of experience in high-volume customer service, supply chain coordination.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel capabilities preferred) and experience navigating order management software.
