Order Entry Rep/Customer Support

Seeking a detail-oriented professional to support sales and production operations through accurate order entry, data management, and ongoing communication with internal teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as internal sales support to achieve or exceed North American sales goals.
• Act as primary customer contact, handling inquiries, sales orders, leads, and basic order status questions.
• Input equipment and spare parts orders quickly and efficiently with minimal errors.
• Serve as the main point of contact for third-party parts distributors, including biweekly order entry and forecasting needs to the internal purchasing department.
• Implement and maintain parts, machine, and base cabinet pricing at the customer level.
• Input production forecasts into the ERP system by machine model.
• Coordinate with production and warehouse staff to ensure efficient order production and shipment.
• Align customer needs with colleagues across departments.
• Maintain the customer database, including entering new customers and ensuring data accuracy.
• Maintain sales dashboards and quarterly customer asset tracking reports.
• Demonstrate a friendly, team-oriented personality while interacting with staff and customers.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in order entry, customer service, or administrative support.
• Strong Excel skills (data entry, spreadsheets, basic formulas, sorting/filtering).
• Experience working cross-functionally with sales, operations, or production teams.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Familiarity with ERP or order management systems.
• Prior experience directly supporting sales teams or leadership.

Pay

$23.00 - $26.00 per hour.

Schedule

This is a fully onsite, Monday through Friday position based in Allen Park, MI. Contract to hire.
