Order Entry Clerk
About the role
The Order Entry Clerk plays a crucial role in supporting Imperial Brady's business growth by interacting with customers and sales representatives via phone and email, processing orders, and providing accurate information.
Responsibilities
- Answer phones in a polite, professional, and courteous manner
- Use data entry skills to accurately enter order information into computer
- Contact Sales Reps to clarify order requests
- Review previous order history to clarify ambiguity of order requests
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents
- Generate Order Acknowledgments
- Address potential problems in processing
- Redistribute requests to different departments
- Maintain meeting production and accuracy standards
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with using other software
- Data entry experience
- Excellent communication skills
- An eager attitude to help others
