This full-time position can be based anywhere in the United States and requires willingness to travel to support clients onsite as needed.

The ideal candidate will have operated in a senior Architect capacity, anticipating needs and driving deliverables for project success. This role is part of a senior task force aimed at growing the Oracle ERP practice, including maximizing sales opportunities through proposals, presentations, and implementations of Oracle ERP Cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Support client engagements by providing subject matter expertise in Oracle Cloud Financials implementations.
  • Assume accountability for solution design and successful implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP projects, including hands-on development, design, and prototyping.
  • Ensure the proposed solution meets client requirements, is architecturally complete, and all risks are quantified.
  • Align solutions with portfolio offerings to drive profitable revenue growth.
  • Evaluate solution requirements with client stakeholders and manage traceability of requirements during engagements.
  • Review customer processes and design industry-specific solutions based on best practices.
  • Act as a technical interface to clients and proactively develop business opportunities.
  • Lead implementation teams in testing cycles, including developing testing scenarios, cases, and scripts.
  • Implement quality solutions, advise clients on IBM offerings, and manage tradeoffs.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to input project plans, work breakdown structures, and manage timelines.
  • Identify opportunities for new or follow-on business and assist in creating change orders.
  • Provide thought leadership for practice growth and participate in strategic planning and business case development.
  • Present strategies to clients, including features, implementation approaches, technical requirements, and benefits.
  • Manage solution proposals, designs, reviews, risk analysis, and client presentations.
  • Provide technical oversight for estimates using standard tools and techniques.
  • Proactively develop business opportunities, including presales activities like demos, effort estimates, and proposal development.
  • Maintain knowledge of technologies, industry trends, standards, and design techniques.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of ERP implementation experience.
  • Senior Solution Architect role on at least 2 full lifecycle Oracle Cloud implementation projects in the USA.
  • Public Sector domain experience (city/state/local/county government) is an asset.
  • Knowledge of GASB Accounting and Reporting, Encumbrance Accounting, Fund Accounting, Projects and Grants Accounting, and Management.
  • Hands-on experience designing and building modular, scalable, testable enterprise systems in Oracle Cloud Financials.
  • Exposure to other Oracle Cloud modules such as Supply Chain and HCM is ideal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with diverse teams.
  • Capability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate as a team member.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for all audiences, including technical peers and executive management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new projects and work on multiple projects concurrently.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of Oracle Cloud Applications, including configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Experience designing multi-platform technical solutions with seamless integration.
  • Familiarity with quality, performance, availability, and security standards for Oracle Applications.
