About the role

This full-time position is open to candidates anywhere in the United States, with occasional travel required to support clients onsite. The Senior Oracle Cloud Financials Solution Architect will play a key role in our growing Oracle ERP practice, leading solution design and implementation while contributing to practice growth through sales opportunities, proposals, and strategic initiatives. Responsibilities

• Support client engagements as a subject matter expert in Oracle Cloud Financials implementations, ensuring successful solution design and delivery.
• Assume accountability for the architectural design and implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP projects, including hands-on development, prototyping, and risk management.
• Ensure proposed solutions meet client requirements, are architecturally complete, and align with profitable portfolio offerings.
• Evaluate and design customer-specific solutions based on industry best practices, reviewing current processes and requirements.
• Act as a technical interface to clients, proactively developing business opportunities and leading implementation teams through testing cycles.
• Provide input to project plans, manage timelines, and ensure timely completion of deliverables in collaboration with project managers.
• Identify new or follow-on business opportunities and assist in creating change orders.
• Contribute to strategic planning, business case development, and client presentations on features, implementation approaches, and benefits.
• Manage solution proposals, including design reviews, risk analysis, and client presentations.
• Provide technical oversight for estimates using standard tools, work breakdown structures, and industry techniques.
• Support presales cycles by creating architectural demos, effort estimates, and proposal development.
• Maintain knowledge of technologies, industry trends, standards, and design techniques.

Requirements

• 10+ years of ERP implementation experience.
• Senior Solution Architect role on at least 2 full lifecycle Oracle Cloud implementation projects in the USA.
• Public sector (city/state/local/county government) experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of GASB Accounting and Reporting, Encumbrance Accounting, Fund Accounting, Projects, and Grants Accounting and Management.
• Hands-on experience designing and building modular, scalable, testable enterprise systems in Oracle Cloud Financials.
• Exposure to other Oracle Cloud modules such as Supply Chain and HCM is ideal.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate in a fast-paced, diverse team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage technical peers and executive management.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to adapt quickly to new projects, multitask, and maintain a proactive, can-do attitude.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep understanding of Oracle Cloud Applications, including configuration, customization, and integration with other Oracle products.
• Experience designing multi-platform technical solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems.
• Familiarity with quality, performance, availability, and security standards for Oracle Applications.
