About the role

Peloton Consulting Group is a fast-growing Oracle consulting firm that helps organizations achieve digital transformation through the implementation of AI, EPM, ERP, SCM, HCM, CX, Analytics, and Data Management solutions. The Oracle Cloud ERP Financials Lead plays a crucial role in delivering end-to-end Oracle Cloud Financials implementations and transformations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Oracle Cloud Financials implementations across the full project lifecycle, including discovery, design, build, test, and deployment
  • Serve as the primary functional lead for Financials, providing subject matter expertise across modules and business processes
  • Assess current-state finance operations and identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and standardization
  • Define and document future-state business processes aligned with Oracle Cloud capabilities and leading practices
  • Translate business requirements into functional designs, configurations, and solution architecture decisions
  • Facilitate client workshops to gather requirements, validate solutions, and drive alignment across stakeholders
  • Develop and execute implementation roadmaps, including phased deployment strategies and change management considerations
  • Configure Oracle Cloud Financials modules and support testing activities including SIT, UAT, and production validation
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when needed
  • Mentor and guide junior consultants, fostering knowledge sharing and team development
  • Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, reporting, and data conversion strategies
  • Support business development efforts, including solutioning, proposal development, and client presentations
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Peloton methodologies, accelerators, and intellectual property

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Accounting, or a related field
  • 8–10+ years of experience delivering Oracle ERP solutions, including at least 2 full lifecycle Oracle Cloud (Fusion) implementations
  • Hands-on functional expertise in Oracle Financials modules, including: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end financial processes and their integration points, including: Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R)
  • Deep knowledge of core financial processes such as period-end close, subledger accounting, and financial reporting
  • Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable Oracle Cloud solutions
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
  • Experience working in client-facing consulting roles, including remote delivery environments
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating within distributed teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle Project Financials modules, including Project Accounting, Project Costing, and Project Contracts
  • Oracle Cloud certifications in Financials or related areas
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud reporting tools (e.g., OTBI, BI Publisher)
  • Exposure to data migration, integrations, and reporting strategy within Oracle Cloud environment

Compensation

Peloton provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, business needs, and geographic location. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $120,000 to $280,000 (Base Compensation).
