ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Performs nursing-related duties in providing for personal and environment for patients across the perioperative care continuum.
- Works in a structured environment under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care in accordance with the standards of care of the facility, following the approved policies and procedures.
- Primarily involved in team assistance to include room turnovers, sterile supply management, case cart preparation, assisting with quarterly inventory, and perform patient care activities under the direction of registered nurses.
- Provides assistance to surgeon with retracting for total joint surgical cases.

- Standing and holding retractors for extended periods.
- Standing and walking for at least five hours per day.
