About the role
Surgical Tech (OR Tech) responsible for supporting surgical procedures in a fast-paced perioperative setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize sterile supplies and instruments for surgeries.
- Maintain the sterile field throughout procedures.
- Assist surgeons by anticipating needs and handing sterile instruments and supplies during operations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; surgical experience preferred.
- Graduate of an ORT training program or minimum of 3 years of on-the-job surgical experience.
- Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures across various surgical specialties (e.g., GYN, general, plastics, ortho, neuro, ENT, Uro).
- Current BLS (AHA) certification.
- Minimum of one year OR Tech experience.
