Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize sterile supplies and instruments for surgical procedures
- Maintain the sterile field throughout surgeries
- Assist surgeons by anticipating needs and handing sterile instruments and supplies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year OR Tech experience
- Completion of an ORT training program or relevant on-the-job training with at least 3 years of surgical experience preferred
- Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures across various specialties
- Current BLS (AHA) certification
Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced perioperative setting
- Meticulous attention to sterile technique
